Alex Longstaff - Singer
Alex is the charismatic lead singer of ‘Gypsy Moon’ with a voice to thrill audiences. At 19, she was a member of ‘Aura’ duo with Kevin Freeman, signed to Huge/Shock Records 1999. They performed dance/R&B, released the single ‘Piece of Alright’, which had national airplay and video clip featured on Video Hits.

In 2001 – 2002, she was lead singer with corporate duo ‘Swap Sides’ for a year in Adelaide, and lead singer with ‘Single White Female’ corporate cover band, one of the top band’s on the Adelaide club and functions circuit from 2002 – 2004.

In 2003, she was Australian Idol top 30 finalist in the first series, became a roving reporter for the series, co-starred in a video clip with various prize winners, and was invited as a guest judge for the Tasmanian ‘Idol’ series at the Hobart Casino.

In 2004 – 2005 Alex made her stage debut as lead singer in the spectacular “Midnight Magic” for Dion and Randall Productions, at Conrad Jupiter’s Casino, where she fourteen months.

Throughout 2005 – 2008 Alex has been performing jingles and voice overs for London Music Group, while singing with ‘Epic Voices’ corporate cover quartet. She is currently signed to Multiplay Records, and is developing lyrical writing skills for a portfolio of songs.
